Workforce Transitions

Contains courses in the area of Workforce Transitions. These courses are global in structure and pathway or major specific in content.

Workforce Connection
This course is a Work-Site Experience (WSE) that is planned, organized, and conducted at the student's place of employment. WSE will be the primary method used for broadening learner's skills and increasing effectiveness and productivity. It is particularly appropriate for developing proficiency skills unique to a given occupation - especially occupations that require locally-owned equipment and facilities. Theory based instruction builds upon the knowledge and skills developed in the Workforce Staging course.
Workforce Induction
This course is a formalized mentorship based instructiutional process for the purpose of accelerating the learners skill development and individual transition into the workforce. Content and specific application of skill development is driven on an individual bases by the respective occupation, career major and/or pathway. Definition of a specific learners content is reflected within an Individual Skill Development Plan (ISDP).
Workforce Staging
This course is designed to be delivered as an integrated component within the courses taken by the individual student. Course is designed for the development of leadership, personal development and employability skills attainment.
