Teachers-as-Advisors (TAA)
- Program that provides educational and career planning with parental involvement for all students by matching student groups with a teacher advisor for a certain period of time.

Teaching Position
- A teaching position can only be filled by one teacher at any given time. A teaching position can teach at only one school. A school can have multiple teaching positions and can administer multiple course offerings. A course offering can only be administered by one teaching position.

Tech Prep (TP)
- A dynamic educational reform movement that involves partnerships, teaching and learning processes, and seamless curriculum structures that lead to an associate or bachelors degree or a certificate in a specific career field and to high-skill, high-wage employment or to further education.

TechConnect
- Foundation programs designed to transition ninth and tenth grade students to the next level of career development. The program provides foundational competency experiences by focusing on integration of rigorous academics, all aspects of the industry, employability and technical skills.

TechConnect Plus
- Career specific programs designed for 11th and 12th grade students in comprehensive high schools to more effectively build on the experiences at the 9th and 10th grade level through more rigorous career and technology content and focused experiences in technical/trade content areas.

Technical Assistance
- Services provided by the Oklahoma Department of Career and Technology Education to CareerTech programs to ensure compliance with standards and state and federal regulations and to assure the quality of the programs.

Technology Center Services (TCS)
- The division of the Oklahoma Department of Career and Technology Education that serves as the liaison between technology center administrators and the Department.

Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF)
- A federal block grant created by the passage of the Personal Responsibility Work Opportunity Reconciliation Act of 1996, designed to assist eligible families with a dependent child that meet the income/resource standards set out in the state TANF plan.
