- A representative of the State Department of Education who evaluates comprehensive high schools.

Regional Administrator (RA)
- Serves as a liaison between comprehensive school superintendents, communities, other agencies, and administrative entities involved with the delivery of CareerTech programs and services.

Registered Apprenticeship Program
- A highly flexible training model combining on-the-job learning and related classroom instruction in which paid employees receive technical and practical training in highly-skilled occupations. (United States Department of Labor, Employment and Training Administration, Office of Apprenticeship Training, Employer and Labor Services, 2005)

Registration
- A credential offered by a regulatory body that administers examinations and maintains a registry or list of qualified personnel.

Related Placement
- A unit of measurement that represents the number of students placed in the (military + employed related + continuing education) divided by the total number of completers. Status unknown is not calculated in these percentages.

Research
- A service of the Oklahoma Department of Career and Technology Education that is responsible for conducting and assisting research on innovative programming, development, and evaluation activities that address local and state CareerTech initiatives.

Resource Center
- A collection of print and multimedia for loan to Oklahoma educators. The scope of the collection includes career and technology education curriculum, School-to-Work, career education, teaching and learning styles, technology in education, business management, and more.

Retention (Retained)
- A student who continues in the same program, plan of study, or career cluster in the following academic year.

Rural Enterprises, Incorporated (REI)
- A non-profit rural economic development corporation with a business incubator program for start-up and expanding Oklahoma businesses, administers business, housing and micro loans, and services for assisting rural Oklahoma entrepreneurs with the opportunity to enter and expand their position in the state and international marketplace.

Rural Health Project
- Training provided to Critical Access Hospital employees to update occupational skills or provide new skills training.
