Instructional Services Manager - Lynn provides supervision for divisional activities related to professional development, teacher recruitment/retention, National Board Certification for teachers, leadership enhancement, conference coordination, curriculum in-service, collaborating with higher education, technical assistance and customer satisfaction.
Shari Goad
Conference Coordinator - Shari serves as conference coordinator and conference planner for the ODCTE. She can answer most questions about logistics and facilities planning for major conferences including the annual CareerTech Summer Conference and Exposition. In addition, Shari coordinates arrangements for meeting facilities and housing for numerous agency division meetings and in-service activities across the state.
Lynn Hughes
Process and Planning Specialist - Lynn works with the Educational Services divisions in the centralization of teacher/administrator certification; coordinates the New Teacher Induction/Residency program with partners OSU and UCO; assists occupational areas in planning in-service activities; coordinates the biennial Leadership CareerTech class and provides coordination assistance for Technology Center Administrator Program (TechCAP); provides web page development and maintenance for the Instructional Services division; assists in coordination of High Schools That Work (HSTW) technical assistance visits; and implements and maintains a process to show program assistance monies spend in comprehensive school programs.
Alice Rushmore
Instructional Services Coordinator - Alice coordinates the leadership development program the agency sponsors: CareerTech Viewpoints. Alice also performs duties in the Human Resource Development Division, as it relates to professional development for internal staff.
Rena Sterling
Secretary - Rena serves as exhibits deck officer for the annual CareerTech Summer Conference and provides office management support to the Instructional Services Division. Rena handles registration for many of the division's in-service activities and manages all day-to-day divisional activities.
Val Evans
CareerTech Student Organization Coordinator - Serves as the Career and Technology Student Organizations (CTSO) leadership development coordinator for BPA, HOSA, and DECA planning camps, conferences, meetings and conventions; works with the CTSO advisors to develop a plan of work for CTSO activities; monitor the financial books for BPA, HOSA, and DECA; provides activities for state officers as needed; coordinates the CareerTech University (CTU) Leadership Development Conference; and works closely with ODCTE's Conference Coordinator, Shari Goad.
Karen Warner
Instructional Services Coordinator - Karen works with local schools and agency representatives in enhancing mentoring processes for new teachers on the local and state level. In addition, she assists pilot schools in developing results-oriented local professional development systems, with an emphasis on individualized professional development plans. She also coordinates the development and delivery of instructional workshops that are accessed by School-to-Work, Tech Prep, High Schools That Work, and CareerTech educators.
